Visit El Valle
Only one hour away you can visit the mountain village of El Valle, situated in an extinct, prehistoric volcanic crater. El Valle is a very fertile land, filled with bright flowers, lots of trees and various species of animals including the golden frog. The colorful local market takes place every Sunday morning in the center of town. Next to vegetables, fruit, plants and flowers, you can find handicrafts such as wooden bowls, paintings on wood, hammocks, molas, baskets and ceramics.

To get to Playa Blanca you must leave Panama City by the Bridge of the Americas or the Centennial Bridge and drive on the Pan-American Highway for around 110 km (1 hour and 46 minutes approximately). You will know when you arrived when you see the sign of the entrance to Playa Blanca on the left.
